Exhibition Period: 8 – 16 June 2024
- PARTICIPATION IN NAPE
a. Each person is allowed to submit up to 2 photographs. Please send us your photographs as individual compressed files of size 5 MB to 50 MB each in Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPG) format or Tag Image File Format (TIFF).
b. The person must own the rights to the photograph(s) submitted for entry in the name of the person.
c. To participate, please submit the completed online entry form for the public accessible through the following link: http://forms.gle/v4AMTRjTHnaagooc8
d. To participate via the physical entry form, please mail the completed form to Ngee Ann Cultural Centre, 391A Orchard Road, Ngee Ann City Tower A, #24-04/05/06, Singapore 238873, to be received by Mr. Khoo Shao Ting.
e. The closing date of entry is 28 April 2024, Sunday.
f. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the event if the response does not meet the expectation.
g. Any person whose entry form has been received by Ngee Ann Cultural Centre (the “Organiser”) will be addressed as the “Participant” from here on.
- SELECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHS
a. All submissions will be collated according to the respective category and accessed by a professional panel.
b. The Organiser reserves the right to decide the number of artworks to be displayed.
c. Photographs with nudity content are subject to approval and the Organiser’s decisions are final.
d. The Organiser reserves the right to reject or decline any and all artwork(s) without citing any reasons.
e. The Organiser will select the photographs to be displayed in the exhibition and notify the Participant not before 4 May 2024, Saturday via the email address provided by the Participant and received by the Organiser.
f. The list of selected Participants will be posted on our official Facebook account and event website.
g. The list of Participants who are not selected will not be disclosed to any external parties.
h. Participants whose photograph(s) are selected will be addressed as the “Exhibitor” from here on.
- SUBMISSION OF DEVELOPED PHOTOGRAPHS
a. The Exhibitor must print and submit the selected photographs to Ngee Ann Cultural Centre, 391A Orchard Road, Ngee Ann City Tower A, #24-04/05/06, Singapore 238873 on 18 May 2024 (Saturday) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
b. If you are unable to adhere to the submission date and time stated in 3.a., please submit the photograph(s) at the address stated in 3.a. between Monday and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., before 18 May 2024, Saturday to
Khoo Shao Ting.
c. The printing requirements are as follows.
1) For regular size prints on photograph paper, please adhere to the following points.
a) Printing size: 12 × 16 inches or 12 × 18 inches.
b) Developed prints using photochemical processes or commercial laser print only.
c) No white border on the print(s).
d) With the photograph in the upright orientation for exhibition, please indicate with pen or pencil on the unprinted side of the photograph (i)name of the Exhibitor, (ii) Entry Title, (iii) Dimension of Photograph, and (iv) the top edge of the photograph with the label “TOP”.
e) Use only soft photograph lamination; do not use document or hard lamination.
f) The Exhibitor is liable for all photograph printing costs. NACC will provide mounting boards and frames as it deems fit for exhibition use only.
2)For other printing sizes on photograph paper, please adhere to the following points.
a) Each photograph must be between 12 and 18 inches.
b) Developed prints using photochemical processes or commercial laser print only.
c) Photograph(s) must be printed, mounted, and framed by the Exhibitor; please include a string at the back of the frame for installation purposes.
d) The Exhibitor is liable for all printing, mounting and framing costs.
d. The Organiser reserves the right to crop the shortlisted photographs to ensure frame fit.
- INVITATION TO THE OPENING CEREMONY & EXHIBITION
a. The Opening Ceremony will be held at LASALLE College of the Arts on 1 McNally Street, Singapore 187940 and commences on 7 June 2024, Friday at 7 p.m. The opening ceremony is not open to the public.
b. The Exhibition will be held at LASALLE College of the Arts on 1 McNally Street, Singapore 187940 between 8 and 16 June 2024 from 12 pm to 7pm The Exhibition is open to the public and admission is free.
c. All Exhibitors will be invited by The Organiser to attend the Opening Ceremony and Exhibition via a formal invitation letter through mail to the address provided by the Exhibitor and received by the Organiser.
- RETRIEVAL OF PHOTOGRAPHS
a. The Exhibitor may retrieve the exhibited photograph(s) submitted by the Exhibitor from Ngee Ann Cultural Centre, 391A Orchard Road, Ngee Ann City Tower A, #24-04/05/06, Singapore 238873 on 22 June 2024, Saturday between the time of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
b. Uncollected photographs will be handled by the Organiser as it deems fit.
c. Please bring along the artwork submission receipt and your photograph carrier for collection.
- EXHIBITION PUBLICITY
All Exhibitors shall grant the Organiser the right to reproduce and/or edit their works and use the provided contact details to produce the NAPE 2024 e-Booklet and other marketing materials.
