Known for its unique characteristics and cultural roots, Teochew culture has a long history in Singapore multi-cultural society. Apart from preserving the culture, the Teochew Cultural Festival aims to generate greater awareness and understanding of this culturally enriching folk culture, and foster greater interest amongst Singaporeans, especially the younger generations.
