- The Exhibition is open to all professional and amateur photographers residing in Singapore.
- Individuals aged 10 to 20 years (inclusive) are required to submit their entries under the Student Category, while individuals aged 21 years and above must submit their entries under the Open Category .Each individual is allowed to submit up to two photographs.
- Each photograph must be submitted as an individual compressed file, with a file size ranging from 5 MB to 10 MB, and a minimum resolution of 4000 pixels on the longer side, in JPG or TIFF format.
- All submitted photographs must be taken using an analogue camera or a digital camera, handphone and must be photographed solely by the participant.
- The participant must be the sole author and copyright owner of each submitted photograph.
- Computer-generated or AI-generated content is strictly prohibited and must not form the origin of any entry. Entries found to be non-compliant may be disqualified at the organiser’s discretion. Participants must own all rights to the photographs submitted.

8. The closing date of entry is 13 April 2026, Sunday.
9. All participants grant the Organiser the right to reproduce, resize, crop and format the submitted works for purposes relating to the Ngee Ann Photographic Exhibition 2026, including but not limited to the production of the NAPE 2026 e-Booklet, exhibition display, publicity, promotional, marketing and archival use.
10. The Organiser may use the contact details provided by participants for purposes related to the Exhibition and its publicity.
11. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone or amend the Exhibition should the number or quality of entries received be deemed insufficient, or should circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control so require.
SHORTLISTING/SELECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHS
- All submitted photographs will be reviewed and are subject to shortlisting for display at the Exhibition.
- Shortlisted participants will be notified via email by 8 May 2026. The list of shortlisted works will also be published on the Organiser’s official Facebook page and event website.
- The Organiser reserves the right to determine the final number of artworks to be exhibited.
- Photographs containing nudity or sensitive content are subject to the Organiser’s review and approval, and the Organiser’s decision shall be final.
- The Organiser reserves the right to reject or decline any artwork(s) at its discretion, without the obligation to provide reasons.
PRINTING REQUIREMENTS OF SHORTLISTED PHOTOGRAPHS
- All shortlisted photographs are required to be printed by the participant in accordance with the following specifications:
Regular-size photographic prints (photographic paper)

- Print size: 12 × 16 inches or 12 × 18 inches.
- Printing method: Prints must be produced using photochemical processes or commercial laser printing only.
- Borders & markings: No white borders, watermarks, signatures or identifying marks are permitted on the prints.
- Lamination: Only soft photographic lamination is allowed. Document lamination or hard lamination is strictly not permitted.
- Costs & presentation: Shortlisted participants shall bear all costs related to the printing of their photographs. The Ngee Ann Cultural Centre (NACC) will provide mounting boards and frames as deemed appropriate for exhibition display.

- Costs: Participants shall bear all costs related to the printing, mounting and framing of their photographs.

- The Organiser reserves the right to crop submitted photographs strictly for mounting, framing and display purposes, without altering the original content or intent of the work.
SUBMISSION OF DEVELOPED PHOTOGRAPHS
- Shortlisted participants are required to print and submit their shortlisted photographs in person to Ngee Ann Cultural Centre:

2. Participants who are unable to submit their shortlisted photographs during the above time window may deliver their works in advance, on or before 15 May 2026 (Friday), to the Ngee Ann Cultural Centre at the above address, from Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm, excluding public holidays.
INVITATION TO THE OPENING CEREMONY & EXHIBITION
- The Opening Ceremony of the 21st Ngee Ann Photographic Exhibition 2026 (NAPE) will be held at LASALLE College of the Arts (1 McNally Street, Singapore 187940) on 13 June 2026, Saturday, 12pm. The Opening Ceremony is solely by invitation.
- An invitation card to the Opening Ceremony will be sent to all shortlisted participants.
- The Exhibition will be held at LASALLE College of the Arts (1 McNally Street, Singapore 187940) from 13 to 23 June 2026, 12pm to 7pm daily (Closed on Sundays). Admission is free for all.
COLLECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHS
- After the exhibition, all shortlisted participants are to collect their prints at Ngee Ann Cultural Centre, 391A Orchard Road, Ngee Ann City Tower A, #24-04/05/06, Singapore 238873 on 27 June 2026, Saturday, between 9am and 1pm.
- Please bring along the artwork submission receipt, a carrier and/or other wrapping materials during collection.
- Uncollected photographs will be handled by the Organiser as it deems fit.
