Mr David Tay Poey Cher BBM(L) is a highly respected figure in the photography community, known for his significant contributions both locally and internationally. He has held key leadership positions, including President of The Photographic Society of Singapore, and has played an influential role in major organisations such as Vice President of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) and Executive Director of the Photographic Society of America’s Exhibition Services.
A recipient of Singapore’s prestigious Cultural Medallion, his artistic achievements and dedicated services have been widely recognised. His works have been exhibited internationally in cities including London, Paris, Buenos Aires, Beijing, and Taipei. Beyond his personal practice, he remains deeply committed to advancing the photographic arts through mentorship, curatorial work, and organisational leadership.
