NAPE Invited Artist – Thomas Tham Joo Kit

Thomas Tham is a humanitarian, photographer, and founder of several non-profit organizations across Asia. As a volunteer consultant, he works to uplift disadvantaged communities through infrastructure development, life skills programs, and NGO collaboration.

What began as a personal passion for photography has grown into a purposeful mission: using visual storytelling to amplify the voices of marginalized children. Through his images, Thomas shares their untold stories with the world—aiming to inspire empathy, awareness, and change.

His work has been exhibited internationally and Thomas is an accredited instructor with the Photographic Society of Singapore and has led workshops across Singapore, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Malaysia. Since 2018, he has served as Fujifilm Cambodia’s X-Photographer Ambassador.

Thomas’s photography has also been featured in high-profile campaigns, including presidential elections in the Philippines and Pope Francis’s 2015 state visit.
